South Hams and West Devon is home to vibrant and engaged communities and residents who take ownership of their local area and are passionate about making South Hams and West Devon a better place to live and work.

Public service is more important than ever and this role presents a real opportunity to make a difference to our communities by putting our residents at the heart of everything we do.

Following a Service Review, we are looking to recruit an additional Revenues and Recovery Officer to join our friendly and supportive team and help us provide excellent customer service to all our residents. You will be able to work from home with occasional attendance at our offices in Tavistock and Totnes for monthly team meetings and training.

As a Revenues and Recovery Officer, you will assist in all stages of the billing and recovery process, including establishing liability, assessing discounts and exemptions.

You should have a good working knowledge of Council Tax legislation and best practice, including the enforcement process.
A committed team player who can work on their own initiative, you will also demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail and have excellent customer care skills.

Experience of using NEC and Information at Work software is desirable, however if you have experience of other software we will provide you with full training and support.
