Community & Wellbeing Directorate. We are seeking to recruit a hardworking and highly motivated individual to work as a Quality Assurance Officer within the Operations and Performance Team covering Benefits for both Councils (Lancaster and Preston).
Duties will mainly include the checking of critical high-risk processes to ensure accuracy and identify errors promptly, compiling statistics and reporting any concerns or training needs to senior managers.
It is essential that applicants have a working knowledge of the Benefits Systems and Legislation and are able to interpret rules and regulations using a variety of software solutions to enhance performance.
It is important that applicants are able to work methodically to strict deadlines and have the ability to organise and prioritise workloads. You will be a member of a small but busy team and must be able to work under your own initiative, without direct supervision. Hybrid working is an option.
Applicants must have a good standard of general education and the possession of 4 GCSE’s/O’Levels, including Maths and English or equivalent, are essential.
